Dan Annan, Distribution Director, Aura Group

Dan Annan spearheads the distribution strategy at Aura Group, aiming to expand the firm’s reach among institutional and High-Net-Worth investors. With over two decades of experience in financial services, Dan has held strategic leadership roles at industry-leading firms, including BetaShares and BlackRock.

Dan began his career at AllianceBernstein and Deutsche Asset Management, where he developed his expertise in asset allocation and institutional business development. At BlackRock, he spent over a decade in pivotal roles, such as Vice President of ETF Sales and Capital Markets in Australia, significantly contributing to the firm’s growth.

In 2018, Dan joined BetaShares as Director of Institutional Business, where he played a key role in broadening the company’s presence across Australasia. Most recently, as CEO of Cosmos Asset Management, he laid the foundation and launched Australia’s first cryptocurrency ETFs.

Dan holds a BA in Economics from St. Lawrence University. Known for his proven track record in institutional and retail asset management, Dan is passionate about driving innovation and growth in the financial sector.
